Community Outreach

The International Centre for Youth Gambling Problems and High-Risk Behaviors offers education sessions for professionals interested in youth gambling problems, such as clinicians, researchers, prevention specialists, and policy makers. The Centre also offers information and tools to various groups involved with adolescents, such as teachers, treatment providers, community agencies, health professionals, and parents.

La Maison Jean Lapointe, an addiction treatment centre, offers Montréal high-school students and other targetted groups information and prevention workshops on high-risk behaviours, gambling being one of them. They also provide these workshops throught the province upon request.

Other community organizations offer sensitization and information on gambling participation throught Québec regions.
